Indiana Trip 2009

We took our very first and probably, last road trip back to Indiana. It was 32 hours going and 27 hours coming home. Don't ask! For the most part the kids did great. As good as a one year old and a two can be, when trapped in a car for a long period of time.
We had a lof of fun. We stared with celebrating Audrey's Baptism. It was really nice. Then we saw Aunt Kathy, Lucy and Kenton. Aunt Kathy and the kids hadn't meant Calvin yet, so that was fun. We then, all met up at the Beach. Which Calvin and Addalade loved. I think they just liked the idea of being out of the car. It also was Audrey's first trip to the beach as well. We then made our way back to my sisters house and spent the rest of the time with her and the kids. We went swimming and shopping. The kids just had a nice time playing outside where it was nice and cool. It's really hot here. All in all the trip was great. We had a nice time and spent some time with family. My kids meant their Great - Grandfather for the first time. That was pretty exciting. Addalade kept calling him Great - Grandfather the whole time we were there. We also went and stopped by my moms tree. The kids took a picture with the tree. It's fun to go back for a visit, but it's always nice to come back home.

IF we do this road trip again, it will be in two years, maybe!
