Indiana Trip September 2009

Our trip back to Indiana this past week and a half was good. The kids had a nice time playing with each other. After about six days together, they were about done, with each other. We went to Lincoln Park Zoo. Which was a really nice zoo. We saw a lot of animals. We saw the polar bears which was the best park. He was swimming around and we were able to see him under the water. Very cool. Kids had a blast. Kid did great coming back on the plane, they slept, which was great. Going was another story. It was late and they were so excited to see everyone. We did meet a nice mom and her son on the flight going, that we talked with the kids watched movies with and played with through the seats. Which was really nice. Calvin did a lot more climbing I think he is official the worlds best climber. Everything and anything he could get on top of or into. Addalade was just excited to play with "her Andy". She just loves him. Andy to her was big bubs and Calvin was little bubs. Don't ask me why, it was all her. It was nice to spend some more time with my niece and nephew outside of my sister. I took Sydney to Violin lessons, that was nice to hear her play. We really all around had a good time. The weather was great. My kids were out all the time, with no shoes on playing in the yard, in the pool and anywhere they could get too. We had a water balloon fight and did a scavenger hunt, which was a lot of fun. It sharpened some reading skills and following directions. We spend some time with papa and Laurie, that's who we went to the zoo with. We saw great Granny, she made us jelly sandwiches and we terrorized her house.
During my trip I realized that Addalade is over "friendly" to everyone and anyone, which is quiet scary. She would talk to anyone that was within reach of her. It was, "hi, my name is Addalade." Or "I have a bear." It was constant, talking to anyone that would talk back to her. Stranger danger has not kick in, I guess. We were in the bathroom at the airport and she was telling a lady in line that she lost her tag to her bag. The woman carried the conversation with her and Addalade kept on talking with her. I was around o f course, but still, a little scary. It's definitely time for that "stranger danger" talk. As far as Calvin, all he had to do was smile and they would melt, when they say him. I know my kids are cute and all, but come on already. hahahahahaha
All in all our trip was good. I was a little nervous and all worked out well. It was by far soooooo much better then the car ride back to Indiana.
Our next major event is Addalde's 3rd birthday party which is Saturday, September 26th. Hard to believe that she is already 3! Where did the time go. So sad, but happy at the same time.
Hope all is going well with everyone. Take care and we will send more information later.
